You can do that here, just zoom and position the photo and when you submit the form, we will only keep the visible part. The original photo is not kept. Don't worry too much though, you can easily come back and add a different photo after your profile has been created.

Not legally required for supervised irregular visits, but some schools have a policy to ask for or even require DBS for visitors.

What you currently charge schools

There is a variation among speakers, with some offering visits completely for free, some asking travel expenses only and some also make a charge for their time.

Some schools have no budget for speakers so we give an option to search for speakers who make no charge. If you do ask for expenses your listing will just mention that there might be a charge so schools can ask when arranging a visit.

Would you be willing to host occasional Zoom Q&A sessions for teachers?

We offer weekly Zoom drop-in clinics for teachers to bring questions they have about Islam. The ideal time is the end of the school day around 4pm. If you feel you could be one of the rotating team of hosts please let us know and we'll discuss availability with you later.

Training or mentoring other speakers

Sometimes we may run short online or in-person sessions to help new speakers get started.
